IT WAS ALL A DREAM

Desert Cycle Tucson is a woman-owned studio co-owned and operated by Hispanic sisters, Alma and Dani. Their indoor cycling journey began as riders. Dani fell in love with the sport in 2018 and had her sister, Alma join the community in 2020. Early in the cycling journey, owning a studio was something that began as a dream.

PREPARE FOR CLASS

Here are a few things to know in order for you to be prepared for the ULTIMATE CYCLING EXPERIENCE

1. Arrive to the studio on time! That means arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class to allow for you to get your cycling shoes on and proper bike setup. Once those doors to our cycle room are closed they will not be opened. Late arrivals are a serious distraction, so please be courteous to your fellow cyclepaths.

2. Cycling shoes are a MUST! Clip-in shoes provide a much more enjoyable and safe experience as you won't worry about your feet falling off the pedals when going through the motions. Our pedals are SPD compatible. If you do not have your own cycling shoes, we have rentals available at an additional cost.

3. Wear appropriate activewear. We recommend form-fitting bottoms (pants, leggings, shorts) that do not ride up and a light breathable top.

4. Be prepared to sweat! Our studio offers clean and sanitized towels for you to dry off all that sweat throughout your ride and an essential oil infused towel to cool off afterward.

5. Don't be afraid to challenge your body, but listen to it. Our team is trained to push you and cheer you on. We encourage you to give it all a try, but if it doesn't feel right, feel free to skip that movement. We welcome you to ride at a level that feels right for you. Your ride should be an enjoyable challenge, not a painful experience.
